Dear Families,
In celebration of Earth Day, our school is planning a special, schoolwide art project that highlights creativity, sustainability, and caring for our planet. To make this project a success, we would love your help collecting recyclable materials!
We are especially looking for the following clean and safe items:
- Any green and blue recycling items you may find
- Blue/green plastic bags
- Bottle caps (any color)
- Toilet paper or paper towel rolls
- Magazines or colored paper (such as mail envelopes)
- Plastic bottles (any size)
- Egg cartons
Please make sure all items are:
- Clean and dry
- Free of food residue
- Safe for student handling (no sharp edges or glass)
Collection Dates: Monday, March 30th - Friday, April 17th
Drop-off Location: Students will keep items with them and bring to their regularly scheduled Art class
These materials will be used by students to create a collaborative Earth Day art display, showing how we can reuse everyday items in creative and meaningful ways.
Thank you for supporting our students and helping us celebrate Earth Day!
