Please make sure you’ve signed up for your conference. If you haven’t had a chance yet, you can sign up on ParentSquare or call the office and we’ll be happy to help.

If you need to change your conference time and require an interpreter, please call the office directly. Changing your time on ParentSquare does not guarantee that an interpreter will be available, and we want to make sure we can arrange one for you.

SPRING CLASS PICTURE DAY

Spring Picture Day will be on Monday, March 23rd. Class photos will be taken for all students. Individual photos will only be taken for students who have pre-ordered.

Its Time! Kindergarten and Early Learning Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year begins TODAY Tuesday, Feb. 17. Children must be 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2026 to be eligible. Visit our online registration page to enroll your child! Nooksack Valley School District - Enrollment

If you child is currently enrolled in our Early Learning/Transitional Kindergarten program and eligible for Kindergarten for the fall of the 2026-2027 school year, you don't need to complete a new enrollment application. Watch for details coming from your resident elementary school.

DOG DAY AFTERNOONS

Cuddle up with a good book and read to a canine friend and volunteer from the Whatcom Humane Society. Choose your half-hour between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Participants should be able to read with minimal help.

Space is limited; registration is required. To register, call the Everson Library at (360) 966-5100.

All dogs have completed basic obedience and/or participated in WHS education programs.

Smart Watches & Cell Phones

Hi Families! I just wanted to do a quick reminder about our technology rules at school. We ask that all cell phones, smart watches, and any other device be turned off and put in backpacks during the school day. This is a district wide policy and there are so many reasons we adopted it. If your child is sick or needs to get a hold of you, we will call you from our office phones. When students forget to take their smart watches off or turn off cell phones we give them a reminder to put them away and if they are unable to follow that direction, I'm always happy to hold on to the devices until the end of the day and would ask that families come and pick them up from the office.

Annual Student Update continues to be Open!

We need your help. To assure that we have accurate and current information about your student(s) and family, we ask that you log into your Skyward Family Access account and complete the Annual Student Update Online form there. You will find the Annual Student Update tile under each of your student's name. Please complete this for each student. This is also where you would provide your permissions for the sharing (or not sharing) of your student's demographic information to various entities/agencies (such as pictures, name and grade to local media, vendors, higher ed, military, etc.) If you need help with your Skyward login, please contact the school office staff.

ASB Cards!

Elementary ASB cards are once again available to purchase at the school office for $11.00. The cards provide entrance to all Nooksack Valley High School home sporting events. Cash or check only. (exact change only!)
