Hi Families! I just wanted to do a quick reminder about our technology rules at school. We ask that all cell phones, smart watches, and any other device be turned off and put in backpacks during the school day. This is a district wide policy and there are so many reasons we adopted it. If your child is sick or needs to get a hold of you, we will call you from our office phones. When students forget to take their smart watches off or turn off cell phones we give them a reminder to put them away and if they are unable to follow that direction, I'm always happy to hold on to the devices until the end of the day and would ask that families come and pick them up from the office.

We want to invite you all to ​our Veterans Day Assembly on November 7th at 2:30pm. We are excited to honor our veterans for their courage, dedication, and hard work. And to ​say thank you to the military families for their support, resilience, and sacrifice.  

We would also like ​to ask for pictures of you or your loved ones that have served or are currently serving. If you could, please include with the picture your students name, ​the name of who is in the picture, how they are related to your student, which branch of the military they were in and for how long. Also, anything else that we should know about this person. If you could please parent square us the picture or email them to: dulce.sanchez@nv.k12.wa.us by November 3rd.  We will be honoring these people in a slide show.  

Please invite ​any Veterans to the assembly as well so ​we can honor them. We hope to see you there!

Your student will be bringing home a registration form for the Good News Club.

Good News Club (GNC) will be meeting Wednesdays afterschool in the cafeteria beginning October 15, 2025 and following the NVSD schedule and only meeting on full days.
